Safety First

Swift & Staley has worked over 1 million hours since September 2005 without a lost workday case. (Through March 2012, this accounts for over 1 million hours.) This has been accomplished through rigorous attention to detail and a full commitment from company and employees. Safety meetings are geared to relevant topics and presented in a manner that is easy to understand. Our employees are intimately involved in every step of the process beginning with defining the scope of work; analyzing the hazards; developing and implementing controls; and finally, giving feedback for future improvements.

Swift & Staley was presented the Kentucky Governor's Safety and Health Award on May 7, 2009 and on March 8, 2012. The Award provides special recognition for outstanding safety and health performance and encourages the development of programs designed to reduce and even eliminate occupational injuries and illnesses.
