Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant

Swift & Staley Mechanical Contractors, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as Swift & Staley Team (SST) ) is the Infrastructure Contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PGDP).

The Swift & Staley Team is comprised of Swift & Staley Mechanical Contractors, Inc.; Wastren Advantage, Inc., and URS - Washington Division.

The Infrastructure Contract is managed by a team of functional managers. Each functional manager handles his area of responsibility while communicating with other functional managers to assure tasks are performed at maximum efficiency.

Swift & Staley is responsible for performing infrastructure and landlord activities at PGDP. Swift & Staley provides the labor, subcontractors, facilities, equipment, materials, and supplies to accomplish the following services:

Swift & Staley performs other support activities that include intra-site mail, operation of the Environmental Information Center, office relocation services, temporary furniture storage, engineering services in support of Swift & Staley activities, payment of local residents’ water bills, and payment of utilities for the local DOE and contractor office buildings.
